I recognized the deserted dwelling;
I knew the empty house
It had faded away after years.
It was deserted after circumstances
عَفاهُeffaced it كُلُّevery هَتّانٍsteady downpour
عَفاهُ كُلُّ هَتّانٍ
عَسوفِfierce الوَبلِthe torrential rain هَطّالِpouring heavily
عَسوفِ الوَبلِ هَطّالِ
Every steady downpour had effaced it,
Every madman left it
Fierce in its torrents, pouring heavily.
The long rains have ceased
