I call out to our neighbors, that they may come our way,
Call to our neighbors, let them visit
so we may satisfy our longing or make a pledge.
So we spend the evening, or make a pact

It is as though a sore lies upon my liver,
As if there's an ulcer on my liver
never cooling, for fear of parting.
Beware of coffee, don't let it get cold
