بَرِئتُI dissociated myself إِلىbefore الإِلَهِGod مِنِfrom اِبنِthe son of أَروىArwa
بَرِئتُ إِلى الإِلَهِ مِنِ اِبنِ أَروى
وَمِنand from قَولِthe words of الخَوارِجِthe Kharijites أَجمَعيناall of them
وَمِن قَولِ الخَوارِجِ أَجمَعينا
Before God, I disavow Ibn Arwa,
Before God, I have disavowed the son of Arwa,
and the creed of the Kharijites, every one;
and the words of all the Kharijites.
وَمِنand from عُمَرٍUmar بَرِئتُI dissociated myself وَمِنand from عَتيقٍAtiq
وَمِن عُمَرٍ بَرِئتُ وَمِن عَتيقٍ
غَداةَon the morning دُعيhe was called أَميرَCommander of المُؤمِنيناthe Faithful
غَداةَ دُعي أَميرَ المُؤمِنينا
I disavow ʿUmar, and ʿAtiq too,
I have disavowed Umar, and Atiq,
on the morning ʿAtiq was called Commander of the Faithful.
on the morning he was called Commander of the Faithful.
