بحمد من شبابك لا يذم
أباO Abū (father of) قُرَّانQurrān بتyou spent the night علىupon مثالِa bed
أبا قُرَّان بت على مثالِ
With praise from your youth, beyond reproach,
With praise of He whose youth cannot be blamed,
O Abū Qurrān, you spent the night upon a bed.
O Abu Qurran, you were made an exemplar.
