نطعمwe feed الجيألَthe hyena اللهيدَfamished منsome of اللحمthe meat
نطعم الجيألَ اللهيدَ من اللحم
ولمand did not ندعُwe summon منanyone who يُشيطslaughters الجزوراthe camel
ولم ندعُ من يُشيط الجزورا
We feed the famished hyena meat,
We feed the young camel meat
and we did not summon anyone to slaughter the camel.
And did not allow the slaughterer to flay
والحوارand the camel calf التمامfull-term ذاpossessing السرthe umbilical cord
والحوار التمام ذا السر
منهنamong them صحاحsound العيونthe eyes يدعينthey are called عوراone-eyed
منهن صحاح العيون يدعين عورا
