وشذّبتَand you pruned away عنهمfrom them شوكthe thorns of كلِّevery قتادةthornbush
وشذّبتَ عنهم شوك كلِّ قتادة
بفارسَin Persia يخشاهاhe fears it الأنيثُthe weakling المغمَّزُthe disparaged
بفارسَ يخشاها الأنيثُ المغمَّزُ
And you pruned away from them the thorns of every thornbush,
In Persia, which the weak, disparaged man fears.
