حَصاناًchaste ولاand not ننميwe trace the lineage of بنيهاher sons إلىto بَعْلِa husband
حَصاناً ولا ننمي بنيها إلى بَعْلِ
They are angry with us that their mother should be called
chaste, though we trace her sons to no husband.
يهيلونthey pour منfrom هاذاكthat one فيinto ذاكthat one بينهمamong themselves
يهيلون من هاذاك في ذاك بينهم
أحاديثtales مغرورينdeluded men بكلa jumble منof البكلmuddled talk
أحاديث مغرورين بكل من البكل
They pour from one into another among themselves
tales of deluded men—a jumble of muddled talk.
