  1. يبحث الترب عن كوارع في المشرب

    لا تجشم السقاة الصفيرا

    He digs through the soil for drinkers at the watering-place

    that do not put the water-bearers to the trouble of whistling.

  2. موتهن انتباشهن من القبـ

    ـر ويحيَيْنَ ما سكن القبورا

    Their death is their being unearthed from the gra—

    —ve, and they live as long as they inhabit the graves.
