وآلواand they managed الأمورthe affairs واحناءَهاand their aspects
وآلوا الأمور واحناءَها
فلمso did not يُبْهِلوهاthey leave them untended ولمand did not يُهْمِلواthey neglect
فلم يُبْهِلوها ولم يُهْمِلوا
And they managed affairs and their various aspects.
They took on matters and bent them,
So they neither left them untended nor neglected them.
Neither neglecting nor messing them up.
وكانand were الأباطِحُthe pebbly streambeds مثلlike الأريِنَthe fire pits
وكان الأباطِحُ مثل الأريِنَ
وشُبِّهand was likened بالحِفوَةِto being barefoot المُنقَلُthe shod man
وشُبِّه بالحِفوَةِ المُنقَلُ
And the pebbly streambeds were like fire pits.
The open deserts were like the meadows
And the shod man was as though barefoot.
And the camel litter was likened to the palanquin.
