وأقربand the nearer يَوْمَيthe two days of ذيthe possessor of المواربةguile الذيthe one that
وأقرب يَوْمَي ذي المواربة الذي
ينالhe attains بهthrough it منfrom فرحةthe joy of الحزمprudence مورداa wellspring
ينال به من فرحة الحزم موردا
And the nearer of the guileful man’s two days is the one
The day of trickery draws near, when I will attain
through which he reaches a wellspring of prudence’s joy.
