ويوم بِيْكَنْدَ لا تُحصى عجائبه
وماand not بُخَاراءBukhara مماamong what أخطأmissed العددُthe tally
وما بُخَاراء مما أخطأ العددُ
And the day of Baykand—its wonders cannot be counted.
The day we met, wonders abounded,
Nor is Bukhara among what the tally missed.
Bukhara’s splendors the mind confounded.
