ورأت قُضاعة في الأيا

ورأت قُضاعة في الأيا

من رأى مثبُورٍ وثابرْ

من رأى مثبُورٍ وثابرْ

And Quḍāʿa held, concerning the Yemenites,

Quda'a saw during the days

the view of one doomed and one who brings doom.

Whoever saw Muthbour and remained steadfast
