يقولsays لهاto her الكانونthe tale-bearer صِّمىbe deaf ابنةَO daughter of الجبلْthe mountain
يقول لها الكانون صِّمى ابنةَ الجبلْ
And beware, beware of a calamity
Beware, beware the whisperer
To which the tale-bearer says, “Be deaf, daughter of the mountain!”
