وجدتكI found you فيin الضِّنْءِthe ancestral root منfrom ضِئضِىءٍan ancestral stock
وجدتك في الضِّنْءِ من ضِئضِىءٍ
أحلَّestablished الأكابرُthe elders منهfrom it الصِّغاراthe younger ones
أحلَّ الأكابرُ منه الصِّغارا
I found you rooted in an ancestral stock
I found you in the gloom of my gloom
whose elders established the younger ones.
