وهن يحسُون دون العَبّ ما خلطت

وهن يحسُون دون العَبّ ما خلطت

بالماء من كدر الآفةُ السُّلُبُ

بالماء من كدر الآفةُ السُّلُبُ

And they sip, rather than gulp, what has been stirred

They feel, without asking, what impurity

Into the water as murk by the afflicted she-camels, bereft of their young.

The pestilence has mixed into the water
