I lied about you: threaten me, and entertain

the earth and its peoples with me, you ticks of Mawẓab.

For I am bold, paying no tribute

on livestock grazing Ḥawāl and Ajrab.

By the life of her who bore you from a huge vulva,

beside her two sciatic sinews, long of pubic hair and shaggy,

hairy, Judāʿī—as though upon her arse

were songs of date-pickers drinking in Yathrib.

I make peace with you until they wheel upon you,

and give you nothing but stones of Taṣlub.

They fart, though al-Sūd lies between me and them.

My two hands against you—by the steeds racing through al-Muḥaṣṣab!

When a cavalry troop of yours takes its midday rest at Qablah,

it folds its other leg and begins declaiming against me.
