إِذا ما أَصابَ الغَيثُ لَم يَرعَ غَيثَهُم

إِذا ما أَصابَ الغَيثُ لَم يَرعَ غَيثَهُم

مِنَ الناسِ إِلّا مُحرِمٌ أَو مُكافِلُ

مِنَ الناسِ إِلّا مُحرِمٌ أَو مُكافِلُ

Whenever rain falls, none grazes their rain-fed pasture

When rain pours down they do not heed their own pouring rain,

Among men save one bound to them in peace or a covenant ally.

Of the people, except those in pilgrim garb or doing a good deed.
