  1. ما أحْسَنَ ابنَ أيكة

    بروْنقِ الضحى صَدَحْ

    How lovely the son of the grove,

    as he sang in the radiance of midmorning!

  2. جناحُه سحابةٌ

    وطوقُه قَوْسُ قُزَحْ

    His wing is a cloud,

    and his collar is a rainbow.
