أَهدى العُلى ثَمَراً مِن فَيض نَعمَتِهِ

أَهدى العُلى ثَمَراً مِن فَيض نَعمَتِهِ

إِلى كَريمٍ جَنى مِن وَفدِهِ أَمَلَه

إِلى كَريمٍ جَنى مِن وَفدِهِ أَمَلَه

The Most High bestowed a fruit from the abundance of His grace

The Most High has bestowed a fruit of His bounty

Upon a generous man who reaped his hope from his arrival.

Upon a generous one who has reaped hope from its delegation.

مَولود سَعدٍ سمات اللُطف قَد ظَهَرَت

مَولود سَعدٍ سمات اللُطف قَد ظَهَرَت

عَلَيهِ وَالنورُ يَجلو بِالبضها حَلَله

عَلَيهِ وَالنورُ يَجلو بِالبضها حَلَله

A child of good fortune—the marks of grace have appeared

The traits of kindness have appeared on the happy newborn -

Upon him, and light brightens his robes with its [unclear word].

Light shines on him, illuminating his noble origins.

بِالخَلق وَالخَلقِ ارّخ أَنَّهُ قَمَرٌ

بِالخَلق وَالخَلقِ ارّخ أَنَّهُ قَمَرٌ

زاهٍ أَغَرٌّ وَديعٌ جَلَّ مِن جَبلَه

زاهٍ أَغَرٌّ وَديعٌ جَلَّ مِن جَبلَه

In form and character, record the date: he is a moon,

In manners and character, it is proclaimed he is a resplendent moon,

Radiant, bright, gentle—exalted is He who fashioned him!

Shining, gentle, outstanding since his very childhood.
