لَكِfor you ياO مَيMay أَنْto تَتِيهِيbe proud كَمَاas شِئْتِyou wish
وَلَكِنْand yet تَرَفَّعِيbe dignified فِيin الدَّلاَلِcoquetry
You may, O May, be as proud as you wish,
You may roam as you wish
but remain dignified in your coquetry.
Yet rise above vanity
مَاwhat الذِيthat which تَحْمِلُbear القُلُوبُthe hearts وَقَدْand indeed زِدْتِyou have increased
بِسُحْرِwith the magic of الغِنَاءِsong سِحْرَthe magic of الجَّمَالِbeauty
What can hearts endure, now that you have heightened
What do hearts carry, now that you have
the magic of beauty with the magic of song?
Added with the magic of song, magic of beauty
