نَادِيclub الشَّبِيبَةthe youth بَيْنَamong أَنْدِيةِclubs الحِمَىthe homeland
نَادِي الشَّبِيبَة بَيْنَ أَنْدِيةِ الحِمَى
هُوَit لِلتْآخِيfor brotherhood مَعْقِدُthe focal point of الآمالِhopes
هُوَ لِلتْآخِي مَعْقِدُ الآمالِ
The Youth Club, among the clubs of the homeland,
Call upon the youth amongst the clubs of zeal
Is the focus of hopes for brotherhood.
It is for solidarity the hopes are held
مِصْرُEgypt العَرِينِthe lion's den وَهَؤلاَءِand these بِمَاby virtue of what بِهِمْis within them
مِصْرُ العَرِينِ وَهَؤلاَءِ بِمَا بِهِمْ
مِنْof عِزَّةٍpride هُمْthey خَيْرَةُthe finest of الأَشْبالِthe lion cubs
مِنْ عِزَّةٍ هُمْ خَيْرَةُ الأَشْبالِ
Egypt is the lion's den, and these, with their
Egypt is the lion's den, and they, with what they have
Pride, are the finest of the cubs.
Of honor, are the cubs of lions
جَعَلُواthey made شِعَارَهُمْtheir motto اتِّحَادَunity قُلُوبِهِمْtheir hearts
جَعَلُوا شِعَارَهُمْ اتِّحَادَ قُلُوبِهِمْ
وَتَهيَأُواand they readied themselves لجَلائِلِfor great الأَعْمَالِdeeds
وَتَهيَأُوا لجَلائِلِ الأَعْمَالِ
They made the unity of their hearts their motto,
They made their motto the union of their hearts
And readied themselves for great deeds.
And prepared for the most sublime deeds
بِالدِّينِthrough religion وَالتَّقْوَىand piety تُرَاضُare disciplined نُفُوسُهُمْtheir souls
بِالدِّينِ وَالتَّقْوَى تُرَاضُ نُفُوسُهُمْ
وَخَلاَئِقٍand dispositions مَحْمُودَةٍpraiseworthy وَخِصَالِand virtues
وَخَلاَئِقٍ مَحْمُودَةٍ وَخِصَالِ
Through religion and piety their souls are disciplined,
With religion and piety, their souls reconcile
And through praiseworthy dispositions and virtues.
And manners praiseworthy and traits
وَوَسَائِلُand the means of اللَّهْوِrecreation البَرِيءِinnocent تَزِيدُهُمْincrease them
وَوَسَائِلُ اللَّهْوِ البَرِيءِ تَزِيدُهُمْ
أَخْذاًtaking hold بِأَسْبَابِof the means to المَرَامِthe aim العَالِيlofty
أَخْذاً بِأَسْبَابِ المَرَامِ العَالِي
And the means of innocent recreation increase their
And the means of innocent amusement increase their
Use of the means to a lofty aim.
Pursuit of the most noble goals
هَذِيthis صَحِيفَتُهُمْtheir newspaper تُصَوِّرُportrays لِلنُّهَىfor discerning minds
هَذِي صَحِيفَتُهُمْ تُصَوِّرُ لِلنُّهَى
عَزَمَاتِresolves فُتْيَانٍyoung men وَحَزْمِand resoluteness رِجَالِmen
عَزَمَاتِ فُتْيَانٍ وَحَزْمِ رِجَالِ
This is their newspaper, portraying for discerning minds
This is their charter depicting for restraint
The determination of youths and the resolve of men.
The resolves of young men and wisdom of men
نَرْجُوwe hope لَهَاfor it الإِقْبَالَa favorable reception فِيin أَيَّامِهِمْtheir days
نَرْجُو لَهَا الإِقْبَالَ فِي أَيَّامِهِمْ
وَلَهُمْand for them دَوامُcontinuance السَّعْدِhappiness وَالإِقْبالِand prosperity
وَلَهُمْ دَوامُ السَّعْدِ وَالإِقْبالِ
We hope it finds favor in their days,
We hope for its acceptance in their days
And wish them lasting happiness and prosperity.
And for them lasting bliss and acceptance
