صَفتcleared السَّماءthe sky فخالفتand so it contradicted منthose who عهدهاhad known it
صَفت السَّماء فخالفت من عهدها
والفصلُand the season للأمْطَارfor rains والأنْوَاءِand storms
والفصلُ للأمْطَار والأنْوَاءِ
The sky cleared, confounding those who knew it,
The sky displayed its beauty, unlike its usual self,
though the season is for rains and storms.
And the season turned to rain and breeze.
شفَّافةtransparent يُبديreveals جَميلbeautiful نَقائهاits purity
شفَّافة يُبدي جَميل نَقائها
ماwhat فيin ضَميركyour conscience منof جَمِيلbeautiful نَقاءِpurity
ما في ضَميرك من جَمِيل نَقاءِ
Transparent, its lovely purity reveals
Transparent, revealing the beauty of its purity,
the lovely purity within your heart.
Unlike the lack of purity in your conscience.
جادتgave generously عليكto you بشمسهاwith its sun وكأنهاand as though it
جادت عليك بشمسها وكأنها
لكfor you تستقلdeems too little جلالةthe grandeur of الإهداءthe offering
لك تستقل جلالة الإهداء
It bestowed its sun upon you, as though
It bestowed its sun upon you, as if
it deemed the grandeur of the offering too little for you.
It were honoring you alone with its splendor.
