Steadfast resolves have softened,
Since resolute determination declined,
and the necklace of great deeds has snapped.

The young man of forbearance and good mannerism passed away,
of loftiness and noble virtues.
The sublime and the noble passed away,

An era which he soon enveloped,
by this overwhelming decree of fate.
