Of a virtuous father and a free mother.

The day Layla was led as a bride to Yuhanna's house,
The day Layla was wed to the house of John
and the beloved's house is the house of joy.
And the home of the beloved became a home of joy.

So may a long life bring joy to the eyes of both,
May they delight their eyes with a long life
and may they be a delight to every eye.
And be a delight to all eyes.

And may Joseph continue to compose poems

Like a string of pearls, pearl after pearl.
