Let there be nothing among you except what we have known

ذاكthat وحيthe inspiration الهدىof guidance ونهجand the path الرشادof rectitude
ذاك وحي الهدى ونهج الرشاد
Remain obedient to the elders among you;
Abide by the obedience of your elders
That is the inspiration of guidance and the path of rectitude.

ماas long as ظللتمyou remain يداone hand وقلباand one heart بلغتمyou will attain
ما ظللتم يدا وقلبا بلغتم
فيin نواحيthe spheres of الحياةlife كلevery مرادdesire
في نواحي الحياة كل مراد
As long as you remain one hand and one heart, you will attain
As long as you are united in hand and heart you will attain
In every sphere of life, all you desire.
In all aspects of life your every wish
تمcame to completion جنىthe fruits الصلاحof virtue وأنتمwhile you are
تم جنى الصلاح وأنتم
فيin ائتلافharmony فاخشواso beware دعاةthe advocates of الفسادcorruption
في ائتلاف فاخشوا دعاة الفساد
The fruits of virtue have ripened while you are
Reap the fruits of righteousness while you
