يَا طَبِيباً تَكَامَلَ الْعِلمُ فِيْهِ

يَا طَبِيباً تَكَامَلَ الْعِلمُ فِيْهِ

بِنِظَامٍ مِنَ الْخِصَالِ فَرِيدْ

بِنِظَامٍ مِنَ الْخِصَالِ فَرِيدْ

O physician, in whom knowledge has reached perfection,

O doctor, in whom knowledge is complete

Through a unique harmony of virtues.

With a system of unique traits

بَلَّغَتْهُ الْعَلْيَاءَ نَفْسُ أَبِيٍّ

بَلَّغَتْهُ الْعَلْيَاءَ نَفْسُ أَبِيٍّ

ذِي فُؤَادٍ لَدُنٍ وَعِلْمِ وَطِيد

ذِي فُؤَادٍ لَدُنٍ وَعِلْمِ وَطِيد

A proud man's spirit has raised him to the heights,

A noble soul has granted you

Possessed of a tender heart and firmly grounded knowledge.

Of a heart refined, knowledge and conviction

طَاهِرُ الْعُرْقِ صَادِقُ الْقَوْلِ وَالْفِعْلِ

طَاهِرُ الْعُرْقِ صَادِقُ الْقَوْلِ وَالْفِعْلِ

وَلُوعٌ بِكُلِّ فَضْلٍ جَدِيدْ

وَلُوعٌ بِكُلِّ فَضْلٍ جَدِيدْ

Pure of lineage, true in word and deed,

Pure of lineage, truthful in word and deed

Passionately devoted to every new excellence.

Yearning for every new virtue

لَكَ شُكْرٌ عَلَى مُروءَتِكَ الحُسْنَى

لَكَ شُكْرٌ عَلَى مُروءَتِكَ الحُسْنَى

وَذِكْرٌ يَطِيبُ بِالتَّردِيْدْ

وَذِكْرٌ يَطِيبُ بِالتَّردِيْدْ

Thanks to you for your noble generosity,

I thank you for your fine chivalry

And remembrance that grows sweeter with repetition.
