مَوْلايَmy lord أَيَّدَكَmay He strengthen you الرَّحْمَنُthe Merciful فِيin نِعَمِblessings
وَفِيand in ثَنَاءٍpraise مِنَof الإِجْلالِreverence وَالْعِظَمِand greatness
My lord, may the Merciful uphold you amid blessings,
My master, may the Merciful support you in blessings,
And amid praise born of reverence and greatness.
And in praise of reverence and greatness,
بِالبَابِat the door ضَارِعَةٌa suppliant للهِto God مُخْلِصَةٌsincere

At the door is a suppliant, sincerely devoted to God;
A woman pleading to God sincerely
She prays—and the one she invokes from nearby has never failed—
Calls upon you, and those who call upon you are never disappointed,
بِأَنْfor ... to يُعِزَّكِHe may exalt you مَاas long as دَامَendures الزَّمَانُtime وَأَنْand that
يُعِزَّHe may exalt مِصْراًEgypt بِرَاعِيهَاthrough her shepherd عَلَىabove الأُمَمِthe nations
That He may exalt you as long as time endures, and
That He may strengthen you as long as time endures, and that
Exalt Egypt through her shepherd above the nations.
He may strengthen Egypt through its shepherd over all other nations,
إِنيindeed I لَجَارِيَةٌindeed a maidservant ثَكْلَىbereaved وَمَاand not وَلَدِيmy son
مَيْتٌdead وَلَكِنْbut طَرِيحُcast down السِّجْنِthe prison فِيunder تُهَمِaccusations
I am indeed a bereaved maidservant, yet my son is not
I am a grieving woman who has lost her child,
Dead, but cast into prison on charges.
Yet my child is not dead, but imprisoned on false charges,
فَافْعَلْso act كَعِيسَىlike Jesus وَأَحْيِand revive المَيْتَthe dead تُحْيِyou will revive بِهِthrough him
أُمّاًa mother عَلَىon وَشْكِthe verge أَنْto تَفْنَىperish مِنَfrom الأَلَمِpain
Then act like Jesus and revive the dead; through him you will revive
So act as Jesus did, and revive the dead to bring back
A mother on the verge of perishing from pain,
A mother on the verge of perishing from agony,
وَتُنْجِand save زَوْجاًa wife أَذَابَmelted الضَّعْفُweakness مُهْجَتَهَاher lifeblood

And save a wife whose lifeblood weakness has melted away,
And save a husband whose weakness has melted his determination,
And her many children, from destitution and annihilation,
And their abundant children from nothingness and nonexistence,
بِالعَفْوِby pardoning عَنْهُhim وَكَادَتْand has almost كُلall مُدَّتِهِhis term

By pardoning him; his entire term has almost
By pardoning him, as his whole sentence
Been served; nothing remains but a word from the mouth.
Nears completion with nothing left but a word from your mouth.
