هِيَ بِيعَةٌ شِيدَتْ عَلَى أُسُسِ الْهُدَى

مِنْ فَضْلِ خَيْرِ مُشَيِّدٍ وَمُؤَسِّسِ

مِنْ فَضْلِ خَيْرِ مُشَيِّدٍ وَمُؤَسِّسِ

It is a church built upon the foundations of guidance,

It is a covenant built on the foundations of guidance,

Through the generosity of the finest builder and founder:

By the grace of the best founder and establisher,

كِيرَلُّسَ رَاعِي الرُّعَاةِ الْمُجْتَبَى

كِيرَلُّسَ رَاعِي الرُّعَاةِ الْمُجْتَبَى

مُهْدِي نفَائِسَهُ وهَادِي الأَنْفُسِ

مُهْدِي نفَائِسَهُ وهَادِي الأَنْفُسِ

Cyril, the chosen shepherd of shepherds,

Cyril, the chosen shepherd of shepherds,

Giver of his treasures and guide of souls.

Who guides the elite and the leader of souls.

كَثُرَتْ مَآثِرُهُ وَهَذِي بَعْضُهَا

كَثُرَتْ مَآثِرُهُ وَهَذِي بَعْضُهَا

مِمَّا تَحَلَّى بِالطِّرَازِ الأَنْفَسِ

مِمَّا تَحَلَّى بِالطِّرَازِ الأَنْفَسِ

His noble deeds are many, and this is one of them,

His glorious deeds abound, and this is but some,

Among those adorned with the most precious ornament.

Adorned with the finest embellishments.

عُنْوَانُهَا المُزْدَانُ بِاسْمِ سَمِيِّهِ

عُنْوَانُهَا المُزْدَانُ بِاسْمِ سَمِيِّهِ

فِيهِ القُبُولُ لَدَى المَقَامِ الأَقْدَسِ

فِيهِ القُبُولُ لَدَى المَقَامِ الأَقْدَسِ

Its title, adorned with his namesake’s name—

Its title embellished with his blessed name,

In it lies acceptance before the most holy presence.

In it lies acceptance in the Most Sacred Presence.

فَلْيَجْعَلِ الْبَرَكَاتِ فِي تَارِيخِها

فَلْيَجْعَلِ الْبَرَكَاتِ فِي تَارِيخِها

رَبِّي بِظُلِّ شَفِيعِهَا كِيرَلُّسِ

رَبِّي بِظُلِّ شَفِيعِهَا كِيرَلُّسِ

So may blessings be bestowed upon its history

So may my Lord, in the shade of its intercessor Cyril,

By my Lord, in the shadow of its intercessor, Cyril.
