If love grows weak, separation kills it.
When love is feeble, separation kills it,
And if it takes firm hold, separation gives it life.
And when it gains in strength, separation gives it life.

A small fire is extinguished by the wind's blast.
A little fire - the wind blows it out,
And a great fire is fanned by the wind's blast.
But blowing on a mighty fire - the wind makes it roar.
