قَدْ قَامَ فِي مَنْيَلِ مِصْرٍ مَسْجِدٌ

قَدْ قَامَ فِي مَنْيَلِ مِصْرٍ مَسْجِدٌ

زِيناتهُ تَفوقُ وَصْفَ الوَاصِفِ

زِيناتهُ تَفوقُ وَصْفَ الوَاصِفِ

A mosque has indeed risen in Manial, Egypt;

Its adornments surpass the describer's words.

وَقْفٌ أعَدَّ اللهُ فِي تَارِيخِهِ

وَقْفٌ أعَدَّ اللهُ فِي تَارِيخِهِ

خَيْرَ جَزَاءٍ لِلأَمِيرِ الوَاقِفِ

خَيْرَ جَزَاءٍ لِلأَمِيرِ الوَاقِفِ

An endowment—God has prepared, in its chronogram,

The finest reward for the prince who endowed it.
