ضَعِيplace عَلَىover عَيْنَيْكِyour eyes بَلُّورَةًa crystal
لِتَسْلَمِيso you may be safe مِنْfrom وَهَجِthe glare of الهَاجِرَهْthe midday heat
Place a crystal over your eyes,
So you may be safe from the glare of midday,
وَيَسْلَمَand may be safe العَالَمُthe world مِنْfrom فِتْنَةٍa temptation
تَشُبُّهَاkindle it أَلْحَاظُكِyour glances السَّاحِرَهْenchanting
And the world be spared the temptation
That your enchanting glances kindle.
