يَاO مَنْyou who لَهُto him belongs مِنْfrom جَانِبَيْboth sides of عَلْيَائِهِhis eminence
يَا مَنْ لَهُ مِنْ جَانِبَيْ عَلْيَائِهِ
شَرَفُhonor الْعَزِيزِthe noble one بِنَفْسِهِin himself وَالْمَحْتِدِand in lineage
شَرَفُ الْعَزِيزِ بِنَفْسِهِ وَالْمَحْتِدِ
O you who, on both sides of your eminence, possess
The honor of one noble in himself and in his lineage,
يَوْمُthe day رُزِقْتَyou were blessed بِهِon it حُسَيْناًHusayn حَقَّقَتْfulfilled
يَوْمُ رُزِقْتَ بِهِ حُسَيْناً حَقَّقَتْ
فِيهِon it أَمَانِيَّthe hopes of النَّدَىgenerosity وَالسُّؤْدَدِand nobility
فِيهِ أَمَانِيَّ النَّدَى وَالسُّؤْدَدِ
On the day you were blessed with Husayn were fulfilled
The hopes of generosity and nobility.
وَالطَّالِعُand the ascendant الْمَيْمُونُauspicious فِيin تَارِيخِهِits chronogram
وَالطَّالِعُ الْمَيْمُونُ فِي تَارِيخِهِ
حَيِّيّwas hailed الْعَلِيthe exalted one بِبُزُوغِwith the dawning of نَجْلِthe son of مَحَمَّدِMuhammad
حَيِّيّ الْعَلِي بِبُزُوغِ نَجْلِ مَحَمَّدِ
And the auspicious ascendant, in its chronogram:
The exalted one was hailed with the dawning of Muhammad’s son.
