وَمَشِيدٌand a lofty edifice مِنَamong الصُّرُوحِthe palaces رَحِيبٌspacious
وَمَشِيدٌ مِنَ الصُّرُوحِ رَحِيبٌ
جَمَعَgathered المَجْدَglory كُلَّهُall of it فِيin فِنَاءِa courtyard
جَمَعَ المَجْدَ كُلَّهُ فِي فِنَاءِ
And a spacious, lofty edifice among the palaces
Gathered all glory within its courtyard.
تَاهَtook pride بِالعِلْيَةِin the eminent السَّرَاةِthe chiefs مِنَof القَوْthe people (first part of القوم)
تَاهَ بِالعِلْيَةِ السَّرَاةِ مِنَ القَوْ
مِcompletion of القوم: the people وَبَاهَىand boasted بِالنُّخبَةِof the elite النُّبلاَءِthe nobles
مِ وَبَاهَى بِالنُّخبَةِ النُّبلاَءِ
It gloried in the eminent chiefs of the people,
And boasted of the noble elite.
جَادَهُshowered it generously كُلُّevery مَغْرِسٍgrove مُسْتَحَادٍchoice
جَادَهُ كُلُّ مَغْرِسٍ مُسْتَحَادٍ
بِحِلىًwith ornaments مِنْfrom فُروعِهِits branches الخَضْرَاءِgreen
بِحِلىً مِنْ فُروعِهِ الخَضْرَاءِ
Every choice grove showered it
With ornaments from its green boughs.
وَإلَيْهِand to it أَهْدَتْoffered as gifts أَفَانِينَvarieties مِنof أَزflowers (first part of أزهارها)
وَإلَيْهِ أَهْدَتْ أَفَانِينَ مِن أَز
هَارِهَاits flowers (completion of أزهارها) كُلُّevery رَوْضَةٍgarden غَنَّاءِluxuriant
هَارِهَا كُلُّ رَوْضَةٍ غَنَّاءِ
And to it were offered many kinds of flowers
By every luxuriant garden.
