إِعْزِمْbe resolute وَكَدِّand strive فَإِنْfor if مَضَيْتَyou set out فَلاَthen do not تَقِفْstop
إِعْزِمْ وَكَدِّ فَإِنْ مَضَيْتَ فَلاَ تَقِفْ
وَاصْبِرْand be patient وَثَابِرْand persevere فَالنَّجَاحُfor success مُحَقَّقُassured
وَاصْبِرْ وَثَابِرْ فَالنَّجَاحُ مُحَقَّقُ
Be resolute and strive; for if you set out, do not stop.
Be determined, persevere, and once you start, don't stop
And be patient and persevere, for success is assured.
Be patient and steadfast, for success is assured
لَيْسَis not المُوَفَّقُthe successful one مَنْthe one who تُوَاتِيهِfavor him المُنَىwishes
لَيْسَ المُوَفَّقُ مَنْ تُوَاتِيهِ المُنَى
لَكِنَّbut مَنْthe one who رُزِقَwas granted الثَّباتَsteadfastness مُوَفَّقُsuccessful
لَكِنَّ مَنْ رُزِقَ الثَّباتَ مُوَفَّقُ
The successful one is not he whose wishes come true,
The successful person is not the one fortune favors
But he who is granted steadfastness is successful.
Rather, the one endowed with perseverance is successful
