ومأدْبَةٍand a banquet بِالنُّيوبِwith the fangs الحِدَادِsharp
غَزَوْنَاwe raided مَآكِلِهَاits dishes الطِّيِّبَهْdelicious
And a banquet—with sharp fangs,
With claws sharp as swords
we raided its delicious dishes.
We raided its blessed feast
أَكَلْنَاwe ate بِلاwithout أَدَبٍmanners مَاwhat بِهَاin it
فَفِيمَso why يُقَالُis called لَهَاto it مَأْدُبَهْa banquet
We ate what it held without manners;
Ate with no manners there
so why is it called a banquet?
Why call it then a banquet?
