It is the crown jewel of beloved homelands
a retreat more delightful for a visitor?
Is there comfort sweeter for one pulled to roam?

A student not apt to be tutored or led
impetuousness, so I heeded no guidance.

while I had neither lessons nor preparation.

Warnings loomed as dangers stalked ahead
that ignorance filled my robes.
