The two families are as glory would wish them,
The two families as the heights desire them,
And the two springs flow from the noblest heights.
And the two springs from the noblest rock,

How noble is the bond that has joined them,
How generous is the tie that bound them,
And its foundation is ardent love without affectation.
Its fabric knit without affectation.

It was blessed, and so I heard the chanting of hopes,
Blessed it is, so I heard the wish's chant,
And heard the angels' sweetest music,
And the sweetest melody of angels.

On a night that breathed its precious perfumes,
On a night when its flowers spread their scent,
A waft heightened by the bouquet of wine.
A scent enlivened by potpourri's aroma,

Generosity lavished delicacies there and chose
Generosity dispensed its perfumes within it
A lovely approach to the banquet hall's adornment.
In a graceful gesture in brocade's design.

So its lights glittered and its flowers strewed about,
Its flowers, arranged with unobtrusive grace.
And its charm was a hidden subtle grace,

The lady of the household and its sons give proof
Signs of the Protectress of Sanctuary and her people
That generosity is at home among them.
That graciousness in their eyes was a familiar thing.

Georgette is a flower in the garden of maidens,
Georgiette in the garden of damsels is a flower
Of the dearest, most delicate kind of flower.
Of the most beloved, gentlest flower specie,

Nobility dwells in her form wherever she sways,
Nobility inclines in her character
And she has cloaked herself in nothing but reverence for God.
Without piety she'd not be so gentle,

Eyes stop at her, though she'd not stop them.

Of suitors for her perfection to choose,

Manners, morals lofty and knowledge
However much he drinks from its pool, he is never sated.
No matter how much from its spring you take it never exhausts,

How delightful for the two suited the passion gathered them
Standing, through love, on an occasion such as this,
To stand from it in such a stand!
