وَتَبكي عليهِ غاديات الغمائمِ
The Saydawi family wept tears for their beloved,
The Sidawis wept in sorrow for their friend,
And the clouds that come at dawn weep over him.
And passing clouds rain tears upon his rest.

So may rain drench his grave in torrents, and may the one within it—
The rain poured down in floods to grace his tomb,
In the words of his chronogram—be favored by a shower of mercies.
Date of his death inscribed by Mercy's hand.
