مرحباً بالشمسِ الَّتي قَد تَجلَّت
عَجَباًhow wondrous معwith بدرfull moon الظلامthe darkness صباحاin the morning
عَجَباً مع بدر الظلام صباحا
Welcome to the sun that has shone forth!
Welcome, o sun that has shone its light
How wondrous—with the full moon of darkness in the morning!
A wonder, with the moon it was morning bright
هوhe فيin ليلnight شعرهاher hair قدalready تجلىhe shone forth
هو في ليل شعرها قد تجلى
وَهيand she فيin صبحmorning وجههِhis face اذwhen لاحاhe shone forth
وَهي في صبح وجههِ اذ لاحا
He has shone forth in the night of her hair,
In the night of her hair did it's radiance appear
And she in the morning of his face, when he shone forth.
And in the dawn of his face as it grew light
