اذا رام شرّا فَلا يَختَبي
The vile man gives himself away;
The ignoble one harms himself
When he seeks evil, he does not stay hidden—
When he intends evil and cannot hide

Like water lying exposed in the middle of the road,
Like water spilt in the middle of the road
Its gleam is seen amid deep darkness.
Its sheen is seen amid the absent
