الطبعnature يشرَعordains بذلoffering بعضٍa part فديةًas ransom
الطبع يشرَع بذل بعضٍ فديةً
لِلكُلِّfor the whole فيin غُبرmurky aspects of الامورaffairs ودُهمهاand their dark aspects
لِلكُلِّ في غُبر الامور ودُهمها
Nature ordains offering a part as ransom
Nature inclines to sacrifice some for ransom
for the whole in affairs obscure and dark.
Of all amid the dust of matters and their obscurity
كالمآءِlike water اذwhen تَقوىgrows powerful عليهِagainst it حرارةُheat of الthe
كالمآءِ اذ تَقوى عليهِ حرارةُ ال
نيرانfires جائرةًacting unjustly عليهِtoward it بحكمهاthrough their rule
نيران جائرةً عليهِ بحكمها
Like water, when it is overpowered by the heat of the
Like water when the heat of unjust
fires, unjust toward it in their rule,
Fires prevails upon it by its rule
يلقيcasts عليهاupon them البعضُa portion منهُof it نفسَهُitself
يلقي عليها البعضُ منهُ نفسَهُ
فَوراًat once ليُنجيَto save ماwhat بقيremains منfrom ظلمهاtheir oppression
فَوراً ليُنجيَ ما بقي من ظلمها
a portion of it casts itself upon them
It casts some of itself upon it
at once, to save what remains from their oppression.
