May God not bless ill suspicions—for how many
May God not bless ill suspicions, for how much
injustices are set in motion among people through them!
Injustice between people is led by them.
ساءَتhave turned ill ظنونكُمyour suspicions بيof me وَالظنونُand suspicions متىwhenever
ساءَت ظنونكُم بي وَالظنونُ متى
ساءَتturn ill فحتىthen even السَلامُa greeting المحضُmere مِصداقُconfirmation
ساءَت فحتى السَلامُ المحضُ مِصداقُ
Your suspicions of me have turned ill; and whenever suspicions
Your suspicions about me turned foul, and when
turn ill, even a mere greeting counts as proof.
