عنaway from بَنيthe sons of راشدَRashid قدalready سارَتshe journeyed الىto
عن بَني راشدَ قد سارَت الى
منزلِan abode طابَتgrew sweet بِهِin it اكؤُسُهاher cups
منزلِ طابَت بِهِ اكؤُسُها
From the sons of Rashid she has journeyed to
The sons of Rashid have departed to
an abode where her cups have grown sweet.
A dwelling where their cups are filled
البسَتshe clothed اولادهاher children ثوبَthe garment of الأَسىsorrow
البسَت اولادها ثوبَ الأَسى
وَبِهand in it ثَوبُthe garment of الهناbliss مَلبسهاher attire
وَبِه ثَوبُ الهنا مَلبسها
She clothed her children in the garment of sorrow,
Their children donned robes of sorrow
and there, the garment of bliss is her attire.
And likewise robes of joy adorned them
ضمَّهاgathered her اللَهُGod لِفردَوسٍinto Paradise غدتshe became
ضمَّها اللَهُ لِفردَوسٍ غدت
فيهِin it ارّخrecord the date وردةًa rose يَغرِسُهاHe plants it
فيهِ ارّخ وردةً يَغرِسُها
God gathered her into Paradise; she became
May God gather them in a Paradise
there—record the date—a rose He plants.
