أُنشي لسيدة البشارة من بَني نفّاعَ
نَفّاعَNaffa بَيتٌa house فيهِin it اشرقshone نورُهاher light
نَفّاعَ بَيتٌ فيهِ اشرق نورُها
Erected for Our Lady of the Annunciation by the sons of Naffa.
I compose for the Lady of Good News from the clan of Naf'a
Naffa has a house in which her light shone.
Naf'a, a house whose light shone in it
وَتظلُّand she continues تحرُسُهُto guard it لدىat تأريخهاher chronogram
وَتظلُّ تحرُسُهُ لدى تأريخها
ابداًforever بِغفرائيلَthrough Gabriel وهوَand he is بشيرُهاher herald
ابداً بِغفرائيلَ وهوَ بشيرُها
And she continues to guard it, as her chronogram records:
And it continues to guard its history
Forever through Gabriel, who is her herald.
