لأَسرةِ جبرائيل كاتبَ مضجعٌ

بِهِ كلُّهم يا ربُّ جآءَك تائبا

بِهِ كلُّهم يا ربُّ جآءَك تائبا

For Gabriel Katib’s family there is a resting place;

in it they have all come to You repentant, O Lord.

فَجُد لهُمُ ارّخ بمَحوِ خَطاهُمُ

فَجُد لهُمُ ارّخ بمَحوِ خَطاهُمُ

وكن لاسمهم في سِفر مجدك كاتبا

وكن لاسمهم في سِفر مجدك كاتبا

So be generous to them—record the date—by erasing their sins,

and be the one to write their name in the book of Your glory.
