هَذي ثُريّا الارض لاحَت في سما

هَذي ثُريّا الارض لاحَت في سما

مَجدٍ تأَلَّق نورها وَتبسما

مَجدٍ تأَلَّق نورها وَتبسما

This earthly chandelier appeared in a sky

This land shone in the sky

Of glory; its light sparkled and smiled.

With the light of glorious majesty that smiled

افقٌ كواكبهُ شموسٌ تنجَلي

افقٌ كواكبهُ شموسٌ تنجَلي

وَلذا ثُريّاهُ تَفوق الانجما

وَلذا ثُريّاهُ تَفوق الانجما

A horizon whose stars are suns shining forth,

Its horizon, stars are suns that shine

And so its chandelier outshines the stars.

And so its light surpasses the stars

طَلَعت بِهِ فَتَزَيَّنت بجمالِهِ

طَلَعت بِهِ فَتَزَيَّنت بجمالِهِ

فَهناك نورٌ فوق نورٍ قد سما

فَهناك نورٌ فوق نورٍ قد سما

It rose there and was adorned by its beauty;

It rose with it and adorned itself with its beauty

And there, light above light has risen high.

So there is a light above light that reached high

هنّأتها بعزيز فَوزٍ عندما

هنّأتها بعزيز فَوزٍ عندما

أَهديتها المَلِكَ العزيز الاعظما

أَهديتها المَلِكَ العزيز الاعظما

I congratulated it on a precious triumph when

I congratulated it on the dear victory when

I presented it to the mighty, most exalted king.

I gave it the greatest, most precious king

تُبدي اشعَّتُها ثناهُ فيغتدي

تُبدي اشعَّتُها ثناهُ فيغتدي

عَنهُ لسانُ لهيبها متكلما

عَنهُ لسانُ لهيبها متكلما

Its rays proclaim his praise, and so

Its flames show praise for him so it starts

The tongue of its flame comes to speak of him.

وَلِذا بدت تَزهو لدي تأريخها

وَلِذا بدت تَزهو لدي تأريخها

بِبَهائِها شبهَ الثريّا في السما

بِبَهائِها شبهَ الثريّا في السما

And so it appeared resplendent when its date was recorded,

And so it seemed to me its history glitters

In its brilliance, like the Pleiades in the sky.

With its splendor like a star in the sky
