فَتاةٌa young woman آلfamily of صليباSaliba قدindeed مضتshe passed away فجرىand so flowed
فَتاةٌ آل صليبا قد مضت فجرى
منfrom بعدهاafter her مدمعtears الاجفانthe eyelids مسجوماpoured forth
من بعدها مدمع الاجفان مسجوما
A young woman of the Saliba family has passed away, and there flowed
A maiden of the Cross has passed away, and so
after her the tears shed from the eyelids.

ابكتshe made weep بنيthe sons of فرَجFaraj اللهAllah (in the name Faraj Allah) الكِرامthe noble وَقَدand indeed
ابكت بني فرَج الله الكِرام وَقَد
ابقتshe left نقولاNicola قرينa companion of الدمعtears مغموماgrief-stricken
ابقت نقولا قرين الدمع مغموما
She made the noble sons of Faraj Allah weep, and has

She went to God among the angels and the
She traveled to God amidst angels and the righteous,

فيamong عُصبَةٍa company اذwhen ثوتshe dwelt ارّخrecord the date بمنزلهاby her abode
في عُصبَةٍ اذ ثوت ارّخ بمنزلها

اهدت لمريم تطويباً وَتَسليما
