رَسمٌ مَتى ما غبتُ عنكم كانَ لي
بدلاًa substitute يَراكمit sees you دائماًalways وتَرونَهُand you see it
بدلاً يَراكم دائماً وتَرونَهُ
A portrait, whenever I am absent from you, serves me
A picture, whenever I was absent from you
As a substitute: it always sees you, and you see it.
Was in my place, you would always see it and it would see you
واناand I الَّذيthe one who ابداًalways لكمfor you فيin قَلبِهِhis heart
وانا الَّذي ابداً لكم في قَلبِهِ
رَسمٌan image وآخرُand another لاnot يفارقleaves عينَهُhis eye
رَسمٌ وآخرُ لا يفارق عينَهُ
And I am the one in whose heart you always have
And I, who have always in my heart
An image, and another never leaves his eye.
A picture, and another that never leaves my eyes
