كَريمةٌ لامين اللَه قد وُلِدَت
حسناءُa beauty تسبيtakes captive بحسرby unveiling اللحظthe glance هاروتاHarut
حسناءُ تسبي بحسر اللحظ هاروتا
A noble daughter has been born to Amin Allah,
A generous one was born for Al-Amin
A beauty who takes Harut captive with her unveiled glance.
A beauty who captivates with a glance like Al-Harut
قالsaid الَّذيthe one who كتبwrote التأريخَthe chronogram يرقمهُhe inscribes it
قال الَّذي كتب التأريخَ يرقمهُ
زيدَwas given more الامينُAmin علىin addition to الأَلماسthe diamonds ياقوتاa ruby
زيدَ الامينُ على الأَلماس ياقوتا
The one who wrote the chronogram said as he inscribed it:
The one who wrote history numbering it said
Amin was given a ruby in addition to diamonds.
