The likeness of the fool in his self-admiration
The example of the ignorant in his admiration
is that of one standing on the mountaintop:
Is like one standing on a mountain peak
ينظرhe sees الناسthe people صغاراًsmall وهوَwhile he فيin
ينظر الناس صغاراً وهوَ في
اعينeyes الناسthe people صَغيرٌsmall لَمhas not يَزلceased to be
اعين الناس صَغيرٌ لَم يَزل
he sees people as small, while in
Looking down at the people, seeing them small
people's eyes he has always been small.
While in their eyes he is the one who's still small
